Winter Walks

Well we made it. I admit I may be a bit over eager in announcing winter’s passing but tomorrow is the first of March and I can feel spring singing in the air. I’ll welcome mud season with barn boots and a big smile.

Here’s a look at some of my winter walks, which have been wonderful, truly!

As you know I’m a walking addict. Or an addicted walker. Or addicted to walking. They all add up to the same thing—I walk every day because I love walking. Because my body, mind, and spirit crave the rhythm of walking, the simplicity of moving at my own unique pace, the joy of experiencing something new with every single walk.

I hope your winter walks brought you a sense of quiet peace, of sanctuary, of satisfaction for doing something really, really good for yourself.

I know walking to be the best self-care in the world, especially for women. It’s my deepest wish that you care for your whole Self—body, mind, and spirit—deeply and meaningfully each and every day of your precious, wonderful life. Because when you care for yourself, you have the energy, resilience, and creativity to care for the responsibilities of your life—relationships, work, and home. You deserve Self-care and the world needs you to be cared for. It’s that simple.

Until next time, stay safe, keep walking, and watch for spring. It’ll be here before you know it . . .
