The Walking Re's

Spring has sprung! The season of rebirth! The return of the sun! 

It’s the perfect season to renew (or begin) daily walking. Fresh air, sunlight, longer days all await you.

For me spring is a season for shedding layers. I can put away the heavy winter gear and ice cleats, which have kept me safe and upright during my winter walks. Now I turn to lighter layers—fleece for warmth plus wind and waterproof outer gear. I delight in walking on ice and snow-free trails. Lighter boots feel amazing! Spring feels like freedom.

Getting outside and walking reconnects body, mind and spirit especially after a long, cold winter like this one has been here in the Upper Midwest. When body, mind and spirit reconnect, you become whole, healthy and resilient

That reconnection is a powerful transformation!

And there are many, many more transformations that come from the simple act of putting one foot in front of the other. When you walk you:

  • Revitalize: the life you want

  • So you are re-sourced. Because walking is the Source.

My wish for you in this wonderful season of renewal and rebirth, is that you get outside and walk every day. Re-Source yourself with walking to transform your life, one step, one walk, one day at a time. What a beautiful way to love yourself!
